What is a Medical ID?
A medical ID is a piece of jewelry, usually a bracelet or necklace, with important health information on it.
See, many of us have conditions or allergies that you would never know just by looking at us.
Wearing a medical ID is a great way to help protect yourself in an emergency.
EMTs and first responders are trained to look for these IDs to ensure they have the relevant health information.
Because August is medical ID awareness month, we’re making these videos to get the word out.
